Has the Bucharest server been taken offline? It doesn't appear to be listed at https://www.tunsafe.com/vpn

I would be very happy when you place your new server in CZECH REPUBLIC - I would even pay for the premium service then!

Many thanks and keep doing great job!

let you experience the performance of the WireGuard protocol (and privacy) the TunSafe project hosts a few high-bandwidth VPN servers.

Re: Free VPN service hosted by the TunSafe project (2018-09-29)

Hi euphoria360

Thank you for your words.

All the v2 servers are down currently. They use a quite complicated multihop version of the TunSafe backend software.

For example, it allows the user to choose how many nodes / servers the packets should be routed through before leaving the vpn network and being routed out on the Internet. Technically, you can select up to 256 servers through which each encrypted packet is routed through before it leaves the vpn network and reaches the Internet via an exit point (however, the ping is increasing for each server, and we do not have as many servers yet).
Also the exit-point and/or route scheme can be changed by the user on demand without having to disconnect TunSafe from the entry-point.

However, we have not been able to update and optimize this version to support the large number of users we have now, so those servers are disabled until more important things are resolved. But it is an interesting feature for the future and pretty fun working on.

Regards
Viktor

Yes sometimes free VPNs not providing the expected speed and all other features like Paid VPNs, Especially when you using Free VPNs for torrenting.

In my opinion never go with a free vpn service's for the reason that might be they breach your data and sell to third parties so instead of free
you may go with some cheapVPNs and should be vigilant about counterfeit deals of free crap VPNs

Yes, i completely agree with the previous reply that telling on free VPN is not safe because IP address offered by free VPNs are already blacklisted, So better option to go with cheap VPNs like Avast SecureLine rather than free VPN.
